Color Contacts! HELP!

Does anyone wear these damn things? I want to order the jade green or sapphire blue but i don't know what to put in the right and left eye power boxes. :? I don't wear glasses or contacts. i just want to try them for the colors.

YOu have to call your opthalmologist to get the proper measurement. It also depend on the shape of your eyeball, so it might not be for everyone. What color are your iris? Some colored lens stands out depending on the color of your iris, some just blends right in, so no difference....I know this because my wife is an office manager for an eye doctor...we get freebies!

My eyes are gray, I can wear green and blue with no problem. When I was younger I wore them all the time because I hated glasses. Now I don't wear either! :lol: I have a couple pics at home that will show the difference in color, I'll post them tonight or tomorrow so you can see how they look. 8-) I hardly ever wear them, but I came across them the other day and wore them for a while...it was weird! :lol: Everything had a blue tint for a few minutes until I got used to them again. :oops:

man i had a bad expereince with these freakin color contacts, in high school i used to wear them a lot and guess what happened? they fuked up my eysight, seriously it does mess up your eyesight though. Find out from the doctor.

You are right!! SOme people like me can't wear them :( I had them fitted and all but for some reason they irritate the shit out of me..

Lisa, I love the colored contacts. I used to have green ones when I was younger and they were so cool. I'd love to dye my hair black and get blue contacts. Hehe!! But, I just had that laser eye surgery last year, so it's senseless for me to even bother with getting them. As far as them ruining your eyesight?? you might want to check w/your eye dr. to make sure. I would get them too, but I paid a lot to correct my vision, so i'm not gonna. Good luck with it!! :wink:

I have hazel eyes and I got green contacts. They look good when I have them in. I went to the eye doctor and they let me try different colors on to see what I liked. Mine are just for the fun of it. But they did order me the right size so they wouldn't bother my eyes.

Well you don't know for sure, so goodluck!...I'm actually thinking of buying a pair of NOVELTY contact lens for Holloween, like a Wolf's yellow eyes, or one with a Smiley face on it....its 50 bux per lens for a total of 100....cool eh?
