Well, the pocketbike is finally in. I had ordered one of those that someone had previously posted about (Cheap Pocket bikes topic). I purchased it on e-bay (somewhat skeptical) from this dude from LA. Well, low and behold for 400, including shipping and insc., four days after confirmation receipt of him recieving the package with money order, the bike arrived!!!!!! I was out of town, being it was sent to my parents, and I'm back down here in NJ. So I take a trip up there for work today and stop by the house to check it out. Damn that sucker is pretty fucking sweet. Dual disc front breaks, not too bad plastics, all the tools you need to take the bike apart and what not, about 100 stickers from the four main bike manufacturers, and even this bottle, which I was like "what the hell is this". Well, come to find out it's a little graduated bottle for mixing the 25 to 1 and 50 to 1 gas mixtures. I haven't fired it up or rode it, but I slapped on the handle bars, front fairing and pegs (about all that you have to assemble). I know, I know I don't have any pics to post because it was a quick stop between traveling for the job, but I am heading back this weekend and will post some this coming week. If anyone was pondering getting one, definately worth the price from what I have seen so far!!

Take it as you may, but I think for 400 bills, you can't friggin beat it.
Will definately post something up with pics soon, and give it my own review in the spring when I get out to ride it a bit.

I was looking at these bike too...my problem is that I am so damn big...6ft3in and 270 lbs...how big are you and do you think my fat ass can ride one of these puppies?

I'm a midget compared to you my friend, only 5'7" and 155. I don't know, I think that you may have a tough time. I'm not kidding, this sucker is only about 21 inches tall. Even for me at 5'7", it's a small bike (lot smaller than I expected), but I guess that is why they call them pocket bikes. As for being 2+ lbs, you may want to see what kind of midi bikes are available. They are bigger bikes with more horsepower which may be more suitable for your size.

I'm about your size and I've ridden a couple of 50s and it's not comfy at all. Plus if you got bad knees, you gotta be mad careful...THey're still fun though. I am yet to try a pocketbike though, hopefully I'll get on one of those soon...

With all these feedbacks, pretty tempting to buy one. Just need a bit more time.

It is tempting to get one when they are so cheap. Do you guys race these things or just mess around on 'em when y'all meet up? I don't really have anywhere near my house to get much use outta one, but it does look cool as hell.
