STOLEN CAR-FOUND

:cry: ZUKI_Ang's car was stolen from his driveway yesterday morning. these cats had it all planned out. he heard 2 car door's slam which makes us think that the one who jumped into his car got dropped off by someone. he came out in time to see the car pulling away...caught up to it, was banging on the window and screaming. the car took off. damn how i wish i would have been there to chase that *ssh*le!
we got our wish guys. we decided to go to home depot last night so he could get his locks changed since the guy now has his house keys and we got off 21 into belleville. i'm asking angel what would you do if you saw him right now...2 min. later the guy drives right by us in the opposite direction. i pull a u-turn, i go to the passenger's side, because Angel's screaming at the top of his lungs for him to drive. i dial 911 and start telling the dispatcher/cop what happened that morning & where we are. he tells us he's notified belleville police. meanwhile angel didn't have much gas in his car so the guy pulls into the gas station. we make another u-turn down the block, shut the lights off and keep telling the cop our location, the guy pulls out of the gas station (w/o getting gas), and is turning onto 21 south. we run a red light (all i remember hearing is horns beeping at us and a car coming at us from the left). we were a little behind the car...he took 21 south all the way down to the mobil gas station across from the newark bear stadium...pulled in and again 2 seconds later...was leaving going over the harrison bridge into the hess station. he pulls out a few seconds later going back over the bridge and back into the mobil station. ( we're not sure why he was going in & out of the gas stations...maybe he was scared...maybe he recognized my car & that we were following him ????? who knows)so we're on the side of the mobil station when we see a newark police truck pull in...didn't block him and got out of the truck...the guy slammed on the gas and took off....by the time the cop got in his truck, turned the car around...he was long gone. on top of that the cop gets on mccarter highway doing 20 mph...WTF!!!!! he just let that bastard get away. there was also 2 empty newark cop cars, 1 in a gas station and another parked on the street.
guys...last night was straight out of a movie...it was a horrible experience. we couldn't sleep last night...everything keeps playing over & over in our heads...we were so f*ck*ng close to catching this sucker. it wasn't even about the car anymore...it was about him, just wanting to see the look on his face when he got caught...i just wanted to spit in his face or swing at him...just 1 good punch. we had our chance & we blew it!!! we are both mentally & physically exhausted!!

so guys please keep your eyes peeled. we think he might have hopped onto 280 towards Jersey City which would explain him literally disappearing. we're thinking he couldn't have gotten that far...the roads were starting to get bad last night when this was all going on and the way he peeled out of the gas station he might have crashed somewhere along the way (the car is a lexus, not the best car to drive in the snow)!

CAR: white '02 Lexus IS 300...nothing's really been done to it expect it does have a snowboard rack on top which might make it easier to spot.

oh yeah and to that Newark cop & those 2 EMPTY cop cars...you get a BIG FUCK YOU for doing SHIT!!!!!!!!!!

( we're not sure why he was going in & out of the gas stations...maybe he was scared...maybe he recognized my car & that we were following him ????? who knows)so we're on the side of the mobil station when we see a newark police truck pull in...didn't block him and got out of the truck...the guy slammed on the gas and took off....by the time the cop got in his truck, turned the car around...he was long gone. on top of that the cop gets on mccarter highway doing 20 mph...WTF!!!!! he just let that bastard get away. there was also 2 empty newark cop cars, 1 in a gas station and another parked on the street.

QUESTION: what happens with a stolen leased car? the insurance pays leasee for damages if any? does your insurance go up anyway?
what happens if the car is totaled where it can't be repaired?
do you have the option of not wanting another car and terminating the lease contract?

UPDATE: we just found out he did hop on 280 to 1 & 9 to I-78/Newark Airport to Rahway/Carteret...(EZ-Pass)

pmdez I was in a bad car accident with my leased car and the insurence said it was not fixable. So they just payed the car off and I had to go out and get a new car. The only thing that sucks is you don't get any money for the car because the insurence uses the money to pay the car off. So it is like starting over again.
I am really sorry to hear all of this, DwnLo and I live out By Carteret so We can keep an eye down this way. Hope things turn out for the best.

first off let me say, sorry to hear about the whip and hopefully things go in your favor. Ive had a car stolen and it sucks, and dealing with insurance is a bitch on top of that. But what i dont get is, if you saw the guy why didnt you make moves on your own, bash the window in grab the kid and stick a gas pump in his ass and pump whatever gas he used into him. Sorry to hear about the car but mine got stolen last Saturday in Newark right outside the library. My mistake but I usually parking in the parking deck but didn’t this time. I have an old ’94 Honda civic with only liability. F*ckers stole it in broad daylight with an factory alarm in it.

I called the Newark police everyday and they finally found the car on Tuesday. Newark police will not call you and when they do the impound already have taken everything inside. Also consider you’ll have to fork up $220 in tow fees and storage for only 2 days. I’m almost certain the tow yard took some stuff from the car. My car was drivable but it was not going too far on 4 doughnuts ( It had 4 Honda SI rims on) and no battery. I was able to get a battery and two regular front wheels because I was not going to drive it home on four donuts. Had a fun time trying to get the car started with the ignition broke but in about 10 minutes I got the car started. Muffler was broke so the whole trip sounded like one of those rice burners. Drove it from Dente Bros towing near 1&9 and Raymond Blvd, Newark to home (Belleville). The whole time I’m cursing out the crooks in Newark that did this to me.

Long story short: Don’t go to Newark and get a Club or Autolock to slow the thieves down.

BTW: Does anyone have 4 steel rims 4X100 pattern for cheap. I need to put the car together again.
