View Full Version : Jersey EMT is the man
Just got back from getting my remote start fixed by Marty. I have had a nightmare with the $350 install a chopshop did and Marty had the whole thing back working in a little over an hour. I'm looking forward to have his professionalism install another one for me.

Strange question:
I have a Viper remote start in my 2006 Chevy Equinox, It functions perfect. But when I use it to start the truck the "service engine" light comes on for the entire drive. If you start the truck with the key it doesn't come on.
You ever heard of anything like this before?

yes.. It sounds like they missed a 2nd ignition wire or 2nd accessory wire. bring it back...they should fix it...
Marty, My alarm still comes on when i hit start. I have to unlock the doors first.

I just had my work van equipped with a remote starter- thanx to Marty. It works great- I can't stop playing with it- I'm like a little kid with a new toy!! Marty is def. the man to go to if you're thinking about having this done. Very smooth install- I guess that comes with experience- but he knew what he was doing- overall it took about an hour in which I had the pleasure to shoot the shyt with a good guy- Thanks again Marty- I'll be seeing you soon for the wifes car- and now both my parents want one- and maybe my in-laws too!!
Ya gatta love this site!

You put that remote starter/paging alarm on bikes? How is the range on the paging alarm realisticay? Will it travel 500' and through a brick wall? Anyway to disable the audible alarm,as I've had people just vadalize, and sit on my bike when it's parked and would love for them to have no clue some big real pissed dude is coming.

yes i can do a remote start on fuel injected bikes...not sure how reliable they are ( my buddy did a few)
the remotes will work through brick walls and should do at least 500 ft
the new vipers have 1 mile range through brick walls also but price goes up for viper
yes i can install the alarm without a siren
and i can add a proximity sensor so if someone gets too close you will know it...
