I am agreeing with the the general consensus. There is no mention that he's rich. White yes, as much as we would like to believe it was not a factor, it probably was.

As everyone said, first time offense. He probably sung like a bird to the cops and the prosecutor cut him some slack as a result.

On a side note, East Hanover has been a cesspool lately. Tons of drug activity coming out of there. Just a couple months ago they busted this huge steroid ring there with this moron, who i happen to have met before, running a lab out of his parent's basement. they are rich but i don't think its going to matter in his case.

You have no idea what he did to get this sentence. IMO, he was cooperating with police and he got credit for serving up somebody higher on the food chain.

It is very difficult to beat a forfeiture case, because the standard is so low. Police only have to prove by a preponderance of the evidence, or more likely than not, that the vehicle was used in the course of crime.
