I think i heard someone say if u dont return it in a ew days they just bill your credit card for the cost of the movie.

I am not sure on this though

They charge your card after 7 days. Basically, it just means that you now have 7 days to rent movies. I love it.

BTW, the way to get around it is, after you give them a CC number to charge to, cancel it. As long as you always bring them back with in seven days, they will never know.

Even on the 2 day rentals?

My rental was 'due back' yesterday....but then I thought "Isn't there supposed to be no late fees??"

they force you to buy the movie. i still have a copy of American Psycho (rented in January) that i'm planning on returning to them. i didn't see the fine print on their huge-ass lettered billboard "NO MORE LATE FEES", so if they want to try to rob me they can eat my ass.

read all the small print...so much BS on it...you end up paying MORE for being too lazy to return in on time. Sounds like such a stupid idea...they just market it to sound appetizing.

seven days...forget about the two day BS.

I already belong to BB online, but they give you coupons for free instore rentals every month. So the GF picked up a movie but it was due yesterday and now I'm worried I'm still gonna have late fees even though there are no late fees

Its very good! I love foreign flicks and Netflix delivers! The cool thing is, you can check out your families' and friends' list of movies they have rented - and no, they don't have porno, so you don't have to worry about that. I like the price and no (actual) late fee BS, like BB does...

The End of Late Fees Terms

Membership rules apply for rentals. Rentals are due back at the date and time stated on the transaction receipt. There is no additional rental charge if a member keeps a rental item up to 7 days beyond the pre-paid rental period. After 7 days beyond the due date, Blockbuster will automatically convert the rental to a purchase on the 8th day and will charge the member the selling price for the item in effect at the time of the rental, minus the rental fee paid. Member then has 30 days to return the product and receive a credit for the selling price charged, less a $1.25 restocking fee. These terms available at participating stores only. Franchisee restocking fees may vary. See store or blockbuster.com for complete terms and conditions.

The extra 7 days is really handy when you rent video games.
